For every Black woman who has heard those words pretty for a Black girl, I want to encourage you to celebrate your beauty. The first time someone said those words to me I was just a little girl and I couldn’t understand it but it still hurt nonetheless.

Sister remember that you are made in the image of God. For that reason alone you are beautiful!! Your words have power so speak positivity over yourself with affirmations.
