As I sit here beginning to write this blog Mary J Blige’s song Be Happy popped into my mind. The journey to loving myself unapologetically wasn’t always easy. For several years I stayed in toxic relationships where I wasn’t valued and was emotionally & mentally abused.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a family member, friend, or work environment sister you have the right to be in spaces where you are celebrated and not just tolerated.
