Every time you put food into your body it presents an opportunity. There are two choice heal your body or destroy your body. Yes, it’s that simple!

People like me are reversing their health by utilizing food as medicine. After battling systemic lupus along with other autoimmune conditions, I gained control of my life by living a healthy life.

Did you know how important water is to your body? Over half of your body is composed of water. It makes sense to drink tons of water so nutrients can travel easily throughout the body. Alkaline water is highly recommended to aid in balancing your body’s ph.

Eating healthy is a lifestyle change. Do not beat yourself up when you have the occasional slice of cake. When transitioning to healthy living focus on your daily routine.

A balanced diet consists of lots of fruits and veggies. For optimal health eat 9-13 servings of fruits and veggies daily. Get creative and incorporate a variety of fruits and veggies.

Easy fixes to eating the recommend amount of fruits and veggies are drinking smoothies for one meal and adding a nutritional supplement to your diet. When making a smoothie start with a layer of green (kale, spinach, lettuce) and add about 3-4 fruits. Your nutritional supplement should be all natural and carry the NSF certification.

Starting a new habit is a process. Take one day at a time and don’t beat yourself up if you have a bad day. If you need a cheerleader, we are here for you! Leave a comment or call us.

Your best asset is YOU! Remember you are truly priceless so let’s start taking care of your body.
