This month I was honored by Glambitious as one of the top 100 Black women making history today. It’s always encouraging to be recognized for doing the work that is your passion. Throughout this month I have seen many Blacks be recognized for the amazing work they are doing in the world.
What would it look like if we celebrated ourselves throughout the year? Can you think of the last time you celebrated yourself? If you have to think about it for more than a minute it’s been too long. The value that we bring to this world is significant and if it wasn’t there wouldn’t be so many attacks to dim our light.
As Black History Month comes to an end be intentional about celebrating your accomplishments and others who are doing great things in the world. It’s so much easier to celebrate someone else when our cup is overflowing with self-love. Get your cup overflowing with love with Love Letters to My Girls.
