Every other day, there is an attack on DEI, which inevitably impacts Black entrepreneurs. The bright light for our community is that we have economic power. In real time, we have seen Fortune 500 companies lose tons of money due to boycotting.
Adrienne Randle has developed the Black Owned Shopping Guide as a resource to shop black businesses. The guide is very user-friendly and can be found at http://addierawr.com/black-owned-business-shopping-guide. The Black Owned Business Shopping Guide includes over 1,000 businesses from all over the world, not just US based and expands across 13 categories.
The guide is completely free to download and mimics a digital interactive magazine. The Black Owned Business Shopping Guide was birthed in 2023 when Adrienne decided to move her product-based business from year-round to only opening 4 times a year. It was her way to keep supporting the Black community, working with other business owners and creating opportunities.

Hailing from Norfolk, VA, Adrienne holds a degree in Creative Advertising, which you will appreciate as you browse the guide. With over 15 years of experience designing for corporations and small businesses, she has an impressive skill set. Her brand, Addie Rawr, offers journals, coloring books, stickers, greeting cards, bookmarks, and more that reflect our community.
Wrap-Up
Our ancestors gave us the blueprint for overcoming challenges. We can rise up despite tariffs, DEI rollbacks, etc. Be intentional about supporting Black-owned businesses and generate wealth in our community.
