As a young girl, I can remember seeing Oprah on television and admiring her. It was something about her essence that made me feel she was doing something phenomenal. She wasn’t just speaking—she was impacting. I didn’t know it then, but that spark I felt watching her would one day come full circle.

Now, as a woman and entrepreneur, I still find myself learning from Oprah—whether it’s through her podcast, interviews, or social media. Her insights have been beneficial in navigating entrepreneurship and having a purpose-driven life.

A few years ago, while creating a vision board, I felt led to place a picture of Oprah on it. I wasn’t sure how she fit into my vision at that time, but I trusted that God would connect the dots in His own way.

Today, I’m beyond honored to share that I’ve been featured in a U.S. Times article alongside Oprah Winfrey herself. This is not just a full-circle moment—it’s a reminder that faith-filled vision plus consistent belief creates manifestation.

Everyone has a dream, but if your dream is big enough, it will take time to develop. Here are three tips that helped me maintain a positive mindset while trusting the process:

1. Believe Before You See It

Faith requires us to visualize what hasn’t yet manifested. When you believe in your dream before it materializes, you invite God to do His best work. Keep a vision board, write affirmations, and speak life over your goals daily. Don’t worry about the “how”—focus on your “why.”

“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” – Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

2. Protect Your Mindset Like It’s Treasure

Your mindset determines your momentum. When negative thoughts try to creep in, replace them with gratitude and truth. Surround yourself with people who inspire you and speak life into your purpose. Limit your exposure to environments that drain your energy.
Remember: you can’t grow in spaces that don’t align with your vision.

3. Trust God’s Timing

Dreams don’t die—they develop. Every season, even the waiting ones, is preparing you for greater. What seems delayed is often divine alignment in motion. Be patient with yourself and the process.

Your dream is not too big. It’s not too far. You are simply being refined so you can carry the blessing that’s on the way.

Seeing my name in the same article as Oprah reminded me that when you stay the course and keep your heart open to possibility, miracles unfold in ways you never imagined.

So today, I encourage you to hold onto your dream. Speak it. Believe it. Prepare for it. Because one day, just like me, you’ll look back and realize—it was all working together for your good.
