Blessed & Burnt Out

There have been many changes made in the past year. One of which has been the way most people attend worship services. Many congregations have added a digital platform for people to virtually attend services.

One of the disadvantages of virtual is the lack of connection that occurs between people. When a person doesn’t experience human connection on a regular basis feelings of stress can take over and dismantle your well-being.

As a woman of faith you desire to walk in God’s plan for your life. Although you know you are God’s child you still feel burnt out with the responsibilites that you are tasked with between family, church, and business/career.

3 Tips for bringing Calm into your space

  1. Diffuse Bergamot and Lavender essential oils to lower level of stress. This combination is extremely calming and relaxing and Lavender also serves as an antibacterial so it purify the air.
  2. Reach for a herbal tea like green tea or chamomile. In one study 10 out of 12 cardiovascular patients stated falling asleep after consuming chamomile tea. For this reason I recommend drinking this beverage closer to bedtime.
  3. Practice meditation daily. It is extremely beneficial to begin your day with meditation and prayer. This practice helps set the tone for the day.

As a woman of faith God wants the best for you. Don’t allow distractions to take control and create havoc in your life.
