Black women embody excellence!! As a black woman, you wear many hats whether you are slaying in the boardroom or taking care of the family you are the glue that holds everything together.
In our community, the phrase strong black woman is tossed around frequently. The dilemma with using this word so much is that we have bought into the myth that being a strong black woman means we do everything without support. A sign of strength is asking your community for help your load was not designed for you to carry all by yourself.

NOURISH YOURSELF
Sister you are your greatest asset. Develop a self-care plan befitting a Queen because you deserve it. Turn your bathroom into a spa by utilizing essential oils. Rub relaxing oils like lavender, peppermint, and clary sage into the shower head. Create some steam and allow the aroma to relax and unwind your mind, body, and soul.
Give yourself a break. Take at least ten minutes of your workday to just reflect on yourself. During this quiet time, you will find yourself learning new things about yourself. Listen to the still-sound voice of God He has a plan for you and during this quiet time you will discover it.
Developing a sisterhood is beneficial to the nourishment of yourself. Your sisters will offer support, accountability, and so much more. Another benefit of having a sisterhood is the assurance that you are not alone in this world. Remember your sisterhood is not about quantity but quality so it does not matter if the sister has two sisters or ten. Build your tribe with women who love, respect, and support you.
SOUL RESTORATION
Your body is a temple. No one walks into a temple and starts throwing garbage on the floor. Sister stop littering your body with junk food, drinks, etc. You are worthy of the best!
For most adult women, the body works best when it consumes nine to thirteen fruit and vegetables daily. Although this may sound like a lot with the right smoothie you can easily get half the fruits and vegetables your body is craving.

This may sound crazy to you however your body needs bacteria. Yes, your body needs bacteria but the good kind probiotics. Probiotics are an essential component of gut health. For the average adult taking a probiotic supplement with at least three billion live and active cultures would be beneficial. Additionally, foods like yogurt, sauerkraut, and kefir contain probiotics.
QUEENDOM
The world can attempt to take away your value but that does not take away from your Queen status. Sister be bold, confident, and brilliant knowing your worth. Now is the time for you to make yourself a number one priority. Do not listen to the naysayers focus on the plan God has given you!
