This past Sunday God blessed me to celebrate another year here on Earth. I have been spending a lot of time reflecting on life and assessing my contribution to the world.
As a Black entrepreneur, it can become easy to think that you are not doing enough or maybe even believe that your work isn’t important. During Mental Health Awareness month I was one of the featured speakers in Black Speakers Network Virtual Speaker Series. If you didn’t get a chance to listen the video is below.
If you find yourself feeling discouraged I encourage you to remember your why. When you think about your motivation it becomes much easier to press forward even on challenging days. For me being an entrepreneur started with trusting God’s plan for my life. Doesn’t His plan always work out better anyway?
I’m truly thankful that I took the plunge into entrepreneurship it has strengthened my faith and provided opportunities to transform the lives of the people I am called to serve.
The next time you think what’s the point remember to simply trust God. If you haven’t gotten a copy of my devotional He Restoreth My Soul Triumph through Adversity it’s a great resource in navigating life after challenges.

Autographed copies of the book are available for a limited time. Send a payment of $20.00 to http://paypal.me/wellnessforall along with your name and mailing address to receive your autographed copy.
