Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice
Philippians 4:4
Lord, I praise You for the joy that is found in You. I am happy in You, and I want to rejoice
always. I know that when I am filled with Your joy, nothing will be able to steal my happiness. I confess that too often my joy is dependent on my circumstances. I don’t want that to be the case. I want my joy to come from you, not what is happening in my life.
Give me your joy, which is unshakable. I am asking You to fill me with Your joy today. I need Your help to overcome _, and I know that Your joy is the perfect medicine. Thank You for being my source of joy, and I praise You for the happiness that is found in You.
