In today’s world, we have so many choices available to us when it comes to lifestyle, clothing, food, etc. In a realm full of options, there is no exemption when it comes to beauty. The overwhelming amount of beauty products on the market promising to deliver flawless, younger looking skin are vast and varied to a point of overwhelm. I started asking myself, What company am I supposed to believe? Does that product actually work? Aren’t there cheaper alternatives? What about all the toxins and chemicals?
I’ve spent considerable time researching, trying and buying products that sound promising. In the end, my skin wasn’t better, my bank account wasn’t happy and I was left feeling discouraged. I know so many women, who have invested a plethora of money on products. Maybe you have, too.
I couldn’t help but think there had to be a better way. Fortunately, there is! I have found that natural beauty products are not only less expensive (most of the time), they are chemical, paraben and fragrance free making them healthy for you and the environment. I don’t know about you, but I’d rather use products that are naturally occurring and gentle on the skin. Among the many options we have, there are some really amazing brands out there offering ethically sourced products that actually work.
I’m sure you’re probably thinking okay, great, but where do I start? Firstly, think in terms of simplicity. There’s no need to overcomplicate things. Take a look around at what you have and what you’re using. What products can you clean out?
I want to share with you some of the products I love.
Facial Wash
The first thing I like to start my morning and end my night with tea tree oil face wash. My favorite product is the doTerra facial cleanser which only costs a total of about $16 online it. Vitamin E supports healthy looking skin and Yucca Root soothes and clarifies the skin.
What About Moisturizer?
The AM-PM Moisturizer by TheraGreen is great for morning and evening times. The cream can be used daily and is made with CBD Hemp oil and collagen. The antioxidant properties of CBD make it a great choice to prevent the appearance of aging skin. Collagen is known for many benefits for the skin such as hydration and skin elasticity.
Lip Balm
When I don’t use coconut oil for my lips, I buy a natural lip balm for easy use to keep with me at all times. So hydrating! My favorite brand is doTerra which is sold in a variety of flavors.
Natural vs Synthetic
In a world full of toxins from the foods you consume to the cleaning products living an organic life will improve your overall health. Building a strong immune system and improving your overall health are just a few of the benefits in living an organic life.
One of the benefits I experienced in living organic is entering remission from systemic lupus. What health challenge is plaguing you? The natural life just may be the answer to your problem.
